the christmas tree immersion
Mali Lošinj is an incredible island that every year draws thousands of tourists attracted by its wild beauty, its food and its unmistakable architectural style.
One of the highlights of the Christmas events is the sinking of the Christmas tree in the sea, scheduled for Wednesday 12th December in the main square, Mali Lošinj. It will be the children of Mali Lošinj who will turn on the lights, after the firemen and volunteers have laid the tree on the seabed, at a depth of about two metres. The glow of the underwater lights is beautiful and there will also be a surprise: a Santa Claus who will add cheer to this moment.
But Mali Lošinj offers much more too during the Christmas period. The programme of events is rich and varied: concerts, evocative festivals, photographic exhibitions, underwater fishing trips, ice skating and much more.
