hills and natural pools along the gentle contour of the island.

Along the gentle curves of the Island of Linosa three small headlands attract hikers who enjoy exploring the countryside: Mount Volcano facing Cala Pozzolana di Levante, Monte Rosso (the Red Mountain) overlooking the island’s cultivated land, and Monte Nero (the Black Mountain) on the western coast of Cala Pozzana, the natural refuge habitat for turtles, Maltese lizards and shearwaters.
A number of natural pools can be found in the area of Fili.
