The bay of Naples
The bay of Naples has its own spectacular beauty that makes it unique in so many ways. It is lively and chaotic, disorderly and teeming, but it is absolutely perfect with its long arms that open onto the sea, with Vesuvius towering from one side and Posillipo behind. Once you have docked at the port with one of our hydrofoils, you will enter the city and fall in love with an almost cinematic reality. Once at Piazza Municipio, you will be right in the city centre. From there you can reach Piazza Plebiscito, with the royal palace and San Carlo, then, continuing along Via Roma, you will pass through the arcade and arrive in Piazza Dante. From there, through Porta Alba, you can dive into the maze of narrow streets of the old town, and, walking down Via San Sebastiano (the road of musical instruments) you can look for the chapels of San Severo and Santa Chiara. At the end of the walk you can stop for a pizza: there are many places to choose from and all are excellent. Sorbillo, da Matteo, al Presidente... it is very difficult to find a pizza that is not done to perfection in central Naples. Cross the road called Spaccanapoli, and there you can visit Piazza San Domenico and Piazza del Gesù.
