Saint Bartolomeo Celebration

Sacred vs. Profane 24th August

The choice of the patron of the island was took by the inhabitants of Lipari that moved to Ustica in 1763. The celebration itself is split in two days: the 23rd with the solemn procession, the boat races, the artistic and musical shows, eno-gastronomic tasting and the folkloristic pans breaking, ending on the 24th with the spectacular fireworks by the sea.
